This is a film consisting of truth, belief and love. Taking the maximum of contents from Hindi film 'Hulchul' director of repute K.V.Raju claims the credit for story - this is absolute wrong. He has made a rehash with the same contents of 'Hulchul' in this power packed film. The cast in this film perhaps made him to go rough. Every scene is splashing on the screen with sound and every character has been given importance. Raamkumar, Jaggesh, Gurlin Chopra are outstanding among all the artistes in this heavily built up cinema from the beginning of shooting.

Among the five brothers the eldest Kempegowda (Ambarish) and the second brother Devanna (Devaraj) have received a major tragedy in life in a marriage of their family. They make it a policy decision to keep away from fair sex in their life and the remaining three brothers also follow it strictly. They are good for good people and bad for bad people. The opponent family waiting to take revenge on this Kempegowda family chalks out plans to disturb the peace of 'Pandavaru'. To the surprise of Kempe Gowda his third brother Hanumantha secretly marries a music teacher in a far of place and he has two children. The last brother Raam studying in the law college also fall in love with Anjali who happens to be the daughter of opponent family of Kempegowda.

Now the issue is peace or pieces. The uncle in the opponent family (played by Shashikumar) tries to bring in truce. He tries to melt down the boiling atmosphere. The terrific lady heading the opponent family asks for the head of Kempegowda that is a tough task. In this process the estranged brothers Hanumanthu and Raam (they have been sent out by Kempegowda for developing contact with women) gives up their family aspirations and join the big brother. At this point of time Kempegowda in the marriage hall renounce the weapon and vouch for peaceful atmosphere. The terrible lady creates a disturbing atmosphere in the marriage hall and it is a long drawn out battle. The five men army succeeds in the target they are heading for.

Ambarish the sitting MP and Minister in the union cabinet looks restless. The camera focus on his eyes could have been avoided. While Ramkumar, Jaggesh and Gurlin Chopra walk away with honors it is as usual for Devaraj and Abijit. Thara give a good performance. Nagasekhar comedy is convincing. Aishwarya daughter of actress Lakshmi doing the role of hot headed lady looks pathetic. Ramesh Bhat and Satyajit get noticed for the neat dialogue delivery.

The other two plus points in 'Pandavaru' are music and cinematography. Hamsalekha gives three lovely tunes and the lyrics are quite impressive. Dasari Seenu handling the action scenes and lot of characters in the frame deserves appreciation.
