It's known that former actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's name appeared in The Indian Express-ICIJ 2016 Panama Papers leak in a list of prominent names from the business world. About 12,000 papers related to the leak concerned Indians, reports said at that time. The leak was a big revelation.

The news is that, on Monday, Aishwarya Rai received summons from the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the leak. She was summoned in 2016 as well.

As per the latest reports, the 'Robot' actress has sought time and her adjournment plea has been accepted.

Currently, the former Miss World is doing Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan'. She has completed her portions. The film will hit the screens next year. She recently holidayed in the Maldives with her husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya.
