Palunku - New is regular with Blessy

Blessy has been successful in identifying right talents and introduce them on screen. In his maiden venture, he introduced Padma Priya, who is now an established actress in both Tamil and Malayalam.
For his next film Thanmatra, he introduced Meera Vasudevan who went on to win several accolades and awards. She is a successful heroine in Malayalam.
The third film of Blessy in Malayalam titled Palunku will have Lakshmi Lahari, a Telugu actress in the lead role. This is her maiden outing in Malayalam.
Palunku features Mammootty in lead role and is produced by Howley Pottur.
After the completion of the movie Palunku, director Shafi's next venture is again with Mammootty in Mayavi. The shooting is to commence from December. The film is being produced by Vaishak.
The movie is expected to be on screen in February 2007.
