'Palnadu Gave Me A Good Start As A Producer': Vishal

'It's important for the producer to get a confidence in the first venture to continue his journey and I am happy that 'Palnadu' gave me the start I needed as a producer' said Vishal, the actor who also made his debut as producer with the recently released 'Palnadu' which was also released in Tamil as 'Pandianadu'. His eyes were glowing with a contentment of his experiment being received well.

Sharing his excitement on the movie running well, he said ‘We had a wider release in Telugu than Tamil and we are happy that we did so. Audiences have proved that they are ready to embrace anything new and experimental like my role of Siva Kumar and his timidity. Bharati Raja’s character has turned out to be the high point of the film and climax as the most intriguing. So, this film has given me a confidence to continue producing films on VFF banner.

My next film is with director Thiru titled ‘Naan Sigappu Manithan’ in Tamil and we haven’t finalized Telugu title as yet. It’s a UTV Co-production, we are shooting from the 10th November onwards and plan to release it on the 11th April. I am going to concentrate on my own banner VFF for the coming one year including my Tamil and straight Telugu venture ‘Sukra’ which will be directed by Sasikanth. We will introduce and give opportunity to talented actors, directors and other technicians on my banner’
