Palasa 1978 Trailer: Of oppressed underdogs & a feudal system

Ahead of its theatrical release on March 6, the Trailer for 'Palasa 1978' is out.  A crime drama directed by Karuna Kumar, the film is based in the Srikakulam district's small-town Palasa and is admittedly based on true characters.

A murder that takes ages to come to a closure, characters seeking justice, underdogs living in the shadow of fear, feudalists and their lackeys, a system that has unravelled - these elements are the soul of this socio-crime drama.

Starring Rakshit and Nakshatra, the film has music director Raghu Kunche in a dramatic role.  As can be seen from the trailer, the action scenes are raw and much of the drama seems to unfold in the night.

Presented by Thammareddy Bharadwaj and produced by Dhyan Atluri, this one has Vijay Rama Raju, Thiru, Laxman Meesala, Jana, Shruthi, Praveen, Mirchi Madhavi, Anupama, Tanmayi Bolt, Shein, and Raja Rao in other roles.

With lyrics by Suddala Ashok Teja, Bhaskara Bhatla, Lakshmi Bhupala, and Bnadi Sathyam, its music is by Raghu Kunche and cinematography is by Vincent Arul.
