An organic and meaning-laden folk song passes through the length and breadth of the Teaser for 'Palasa 1978', an upcoming crime drama directed by Karuna Kumar. A realistic crime drama set in a small town in Srikakulam district, this one is admittedly based on true characters.

"The story has been written with fiction and a social issue burning from decades," the makers say. While Rakshit and Nakshatra are the lead pair, the film has got an interesting talent playing an author-backed role. It's music director Raghu Kunche, who will be seen as a don in the raw drama.

Presented by Thammareddy Bharadwaj and produced by Dhyan Atluri, this one has Vijay Rama Raju, Thiru, Laxman Meesala, Jana, Shruthi, Praveen, Mirchi Madhavi, Anupama, Tanmayi Bolt, Shein, and Raja Rao in other roles.

With lyrics by Suddala Ashok Teja, Bhaskara Bhatla, Lakshmi Bhupala, and Bnadi Sathyam, its music is by Raghu Kunche and cinematography is by Vincent Arul.
