It is common everyday for the public to have many complaints against their MLAs and politicians for not doing their best for the good of them. However an awesome act of APs Palakollu MLA Nimmala Ramanaidu has caught the headlines for his innovative measure to not only call attention on a immediate need but also allay the fears of his constituency people.

The Hindu Smasana Vatika’ burial ground at Palakollu in West Godavari district is in a bad shape and eventhough Rupees 3 Crores had been sanctioned for the upliftment the government officials and contractors were moving at a snail's pace. The contractors have their own woes as they complain that at any given time two bodies are being burnt there and when they dig bones and human organs surface. The workers and the people near the area also fear that ghosts and spirits haunt the place.

MLA Nimmala Ramanaidu took an unusual step by arriving at the burial ground at midnight having food there, then sleeping peacefully for the rest of the night alone and waking up, taking bath and again having a cup of coffee in the morning. He did this to prove that there is nothing to fear and to start the work immediately. Nimmala Ramanaidu is one of the toppers in efficiency in the Chandrababu Naidu government and is much respected there.
