Pakkhi Hegde, the popular actress known prominently for playing a range of roles in Bhojpuri, is all set to debut in Telugu. After having acted in Marathi and Punjabi films as well, the talented diva is now playing a challenging role in the Telugu film 'Mani Shankar'.

Speaking about her part in the movie, Pakkhi says that her character in the Siva Kantamaneni-headlined movie is complex, possessing a multitude of emotions. "I have also got trained in bike-riding since my role required it," she reveals, adding that her character is that of a rough girl in the entertainer.

To be known as Priya U Hegde in Telugu, the actress is looking forward to doing other interesting projects in Telugu in the coming years.

Coming to 'Mani Shankar', the film has been written and directed by G Venkat Krishnan. Produced by Phani Bhushan and AV Srinivas, its cinematography is by Prabhakar Reddy. Also featuring Chanikya and Sanjjanaa Galrani, the movie will lock its release date soon.
