Pakistan PM pays his respects to Dilip Kumar

Veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar passed away this morning after complications due to his prolonged illness. Several actors and filmmakers took to social media to pay their respects to the great artist. In addition to this, Prime Minister of Pakistan also condoled the passing of Dilip Kumar Sahab. Imraan recalled the time when Dilip Kumar helped raise funds for SKMTH (Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust Hospital), a hospital in the memory of his mother.
He tweeted, "Saddened to learn of Dilip Kumar’s passing. I can never forget his generosity in giving his time to help raise funds for SKMTH when (the) project launched. This is the most difficult time – to raise (the) first 10% of the funds & his appearance in Pak & London helped raise huge amounts."
Since Dilip Kumar was originally born Yusuf Khan in Peshawar, Pakistan his attachment to his motherland can be understood. He was also awarded Pakistan's highest civilian honour, Nishan-e-imtiaz. Imraan Khan also lauded Dilip Kumar's acting prowess by saying, "Apart from this, for my generation, Dilip Kumar was the greatest and most versatile actor."
