Pakistan announces steps against India

Following the scrapping of Article 370 and bifurcation of Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan has reacted in an adverse way, as was expected.

The Government of Pakistan has announced that it will downgrade diplomatic relations with India right away. Also, bilateral trade with India stands suspended. "We will review bilateral arrangements and take the matter to the UN, including the Security Council," the Imran Khan government said.

Pak will observe August 14 in solidarity with "brave Kashmiris".

Earlier Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting of the National Security Council and directed that "all diplomatic channels be activated to expose the brutal Indian racist regime and human rights violations. He directed Armed Forces to continue vigilance."

The Narendra Modi government hasn't reacted to the expected moves by Pak.
