It was close to a decade back that Pakhi, then known as Punarnava Mehta, had made her big screen debut with 'Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai?'. Based on the Hollywood sex comedy series 'American Pie', the film had Pakhi as one of the sole saving grace. Though the pretty girl refrained from acting, Pakhi continued with her passion of writing.

A few years down the line she married filmmaker Abbas Tyrewala and meanwhile the script of 'Jhootha Hi Sahi' was born as well. A recommendation by John Abraham meant that she was also roped in as a leading lady for her own script and soon, she was following the call of her husband, this time in the capacity of the director.

While the response is awaited on how she has actually performed in the film, one is led to an obvious question - 'Now that she has tasted blood all over again as an actor, is this a one off stand at her end or does she have any more aggressive plans?'

Smiles Pakhi, "You know what, I remember telling Abbas that I have always loved writing. However, after working in 'Jhootha Hi Sahi' in the capacity of an actress, I have never felt more alive and heartfelt. I like being in front of the camera, the shooting and the entire working period spent in it. I love the dancing and the singing part."

Prod her further and she merrily declares, "Personally of course I would want to continue."

Well, we would want to see more of you as well, Pakhi!
