Earlier today, Pakistan claimed that its air forces have struck down an IAF jet, besides arresting an Indian pilot.  It seems the claim is a big joke!

As per credible reports, the Pakistan media is using images of jet crashes that happened in Jodhpur and Odisha in the years 2016 and 2018 to fool everyone (including Pakistanis!) that their military has struck down IAF jets.

"Contrary to reports thus far, all IAF pilots have been accounted for, say some sources to me.  A Pak F-16 has been lost on their side. Was it a case of friendly fire? What happened to those pilots?" asks Vishnu Som, a prominent journalist.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Faisal, the spokesperson of Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said, "PAF undertook strikes across LoC from Pakistani airspace. The sole purpose of this action was to demonstrate our right, will and capability for self defence. We do not wish to escalate but are fully prepared if forced into that paradigm."
