We all known that Bollywood films are popular throughout the subcontinent but it became evident when Pakistan Prime Minister Imraan Khan used a clip from an old Bollywood film as an example to explain the conspiracy against his government. Imraan shared a clip from the 1984 Bollywood film 'Inquilab' in which a corrupt politician played by Kader Khan is talking about performing a coup on the existing government.
PM captioned the post as, "It is what has been planned against the PTI govt from day one by the corrupt mafias." Apparently Imraan was then crotisised and trolled for using a Bollywood film to propagate his political idea. Although he deleted it soon after posting but by then Imraan's tweet was already became viral.
A user retweeted it saying, "You know things have reached a breaking point when Imran Khan uses a clip from a Bollywood film to make a political point." While another user pointed at the hypocrisy in the tweet. He said, "Few days ago, Imran Khan was lecturing us on the decadence of Bollywood. Today, he is using Bollywood movies to teach political morality. Its exhausting to keep track of his U-Turns."
