Rakeysh Mehra’s ‘Rang De Basanti’ continues to make waves and inspire a whole new generation. After spiraling anti-reservation protests, RDB has now affected the youth across the border as well. So much so that a new television channel is being launched in Pakistan named ‘Aag’ by the popular ‘Jung’ group of Newspaper which is basing itself on the ideals that ‘RDB’ stood for. The channel is going to deal with the issues concerning the citizens and support public opinion the way it was done in the UTV film.

The promoters of the film would like the entire cast and crew of ‘RDB’ to be present at the launch of the channel in Mid-October. It has been learnt from reliable sources that film’s director Rakeysh Mehra is making sure that the cast does find time to be present for the channel’s launch. The owners of ‘Jung’ newspaper are also making efforts to get ‘Rang De Basanti’ released in Pakistan. In other words, ‘Rang De Basanti’ continues to Rock!
