Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, which distributed 'Baahubali' in a territory, has acquired the Telugu rights of Sandalwood star Kiccha Sudeep's 'Pailwan'. The actioner sees the 'Eega' star as a gutsy wrestler. Suniel Shetty of Bollywood has a key role, while Aakanksha Singh will also be seen.

"We are happy to have acquired the rights. Titled 'Pahalwan' in Telugu, it will be released on August 29," the producers say.

Written and directed by S Krishna, its music is by Arjun Janya and cinematography is by Karunakar. Kabir Duhan Singh, Sushant Singh, Kabir Duhan Singh, Sharath Lohitashwa, Avinash and others are part of the cast.

Edited by Ruben, its Production Design is by Shivakumar. Kusthi fights are by A Vijay, while the Boxing fights are by Larnell Stovall. Stunts are by Ram-Laxman duo, and Dr K. Raviverma.
