The doyen of Kannada cinema SR Puttanna Kanagal directed Paruvarahalli Pandavaru` was released in 1978. It was a well acclaimed film. The Kaurava and Pandava concept was tucked in that film. Paying a tribute to legendary director Puttanna Kanagal the newbie Jaggu Sirsi (of Kotikond Love Story) holds the similar situation of the 1978 film in the film and says it is not a sequel. Only one character of GV Krishna carries over. The incident of 1989 is inspiration for his aspiration in Paduvarahalli Pandavaru 1989.

The teaser launch before going on the sets was released at Monday at Green House Raj Milan by noted cameraman and producer Anaji Nagaraj (he was first go give job for Jaggu Sirsi). Sanchari Vijay national award winner was also present.

Vinu Venkatesh studied acting in Anupam Kher institute, John, Asha Bhandari, Mahasathi, Swasthik Shanker, Amog, Jeevan, Satish and others are in the cast.
