Padmapriya, who is getting busy in Tamil, has not forgotten Malluwood. Unlike other heroines who settle down in Chennai and concentrated on Tamil movies, she manages to squeeze dates and act in Malayalam movies too.

The actress, whose recent Tamil movie Pattiyal is turning out to be a big hit and is slated to be dubbed in Telugu too, has accepted to act in a Malayalam movie opposite Mammootty.

The film will be directed by Joemon and shooting starts in the first week of May. Sreenivasan who plays an important character in the film has written the dialogues. Mammootty's earlier films with Joemon are Samrajyam, Jackpot and Anaswaram. The film is expected to be released on August 15 this year.
