Director Padmakumar came up with back-to-back hits in Ammakilikoodu, Vargam and Vaastavam. All starring Prithviraj, their good opening brought a star status on the director.

As expected he teams up with his lucky mascot Prithviraj for his next film.

Meanwhile buzz is that Mammootty has urged Padmakumar to do a movie for him. It would go to floors in the middle of 2007 and would be produced by Silver Light Communications.
