One of the most talented directors from the younger lot, M. Padmakumar, has finally bagged a film that will star Mohanlal in the lead.

The project which will be produced by Subair in the banner of Varnachithra will be scripted by Renjith. This movie will start its shooting, after the completion of the Mammootty project ‘Gillete Purushothaman' in the scripts of T A Razaaq.

Padmakumar and Razaq had been in the wait for long for the Mammootty film 'Rikshakaaran' that was shifted to further dates due to many reasons.

And in the last month, the film was shelved for now and Razaaq started working on another script for Mammootty, which was later titled as ‘Gillete Purushothaman’. This Mammootty starrer is all set to start by the mid of June.
