Padmaja Rao To Direction

The proud mother of Diganth, Ganesh, Prajwal and other young buddies on silver screen Padmaja Rao is making a leap in to direction. She is heading the megaphone and also producing the television serial on a unique subject that touches the rural folks too much.

Actress from 'Mungaru Male' Padmaja Rao was found in over 50 films besides doing work on the stage plays and acting in small screen from 'Moodala Mane' in Vaishali Kasaravalli direction. Padmaja Rao picked the interest in direction from 'Moodala Mane'.

For her debut television serial direction and production Padmaja Rao is roping in top actors Pooja Gandhi, Abhinaya Sharadhe Jayanthi, Doddanna, Yash and others. This is telecast in Zee Kannada from Monday to Friday at 8 pm. Nithya is making debut in the title role of 'Malli'.

Padmaja Rao 'Benkiyalli Aralidha Hoo' title is picked from a popular Kannada film directed doyen of Indian cinema K Balachander. It was in 1983 KB directed ‘Benkiyalli Aralidha Hoo' that starred Kamal Hassan, Suhasini, Rajeev, Ramakrishna, Vijayalakshmi Singh, Sunder Raj, Leelavathi and others.
