Padmabhushan award for Superstar Krishna

Superstar Krishna has been felicitated with India's most prestigious award Padma Bhushan for his outstanding contribution to Telugu cinema. He is one of the prolific actors of Tollywood who debuted, the concept of technologies first time for scope film, color film and 70 mm film to the industry. The most famous film 'Good Bad and Ugly' in Hollywood was based on the cowboy theme which was made in Telugu by the actor.

Apart from acting in films, he has also directed about 17 films. Albeit the various genre of work he did in films which made major changes in the industry, he was not felicitated even with a Nandi award till now. But, the Padma Bhushan has honoured him to a great extent by standing evident to his talent and contribution. The actor who is keen on working more and not awards has been plausibly been recognized for the first time.
