Padma Bhushan for Ulaga Nayagan

Its official and confirmed now, our very own Kamal Hassan is set to receive the prestigious “Padma Bhushan” award. Apart from Kamal Hassan from Kollywood cine fraternity, Ace Lyricist Vairamuthu has also been confirmed to be one of the recipients. Talking to the press, the actor has quoted it’s an honor to have received such an award from the Government and is his good fortune and would definitely drive him further to give the best. As modest always, the star said that he would take this award for giving more in him, rather than taking it for his work till date.

Kamal further went on and congratulated Vairamuthu as well. Hard work never fails and who better than Kamal Hassan could have bagged this. The star is known to have bagged Padmashree award in 1990 and now 2014 will mark yet another landmark in his career.
