'Padikathavan' goes to floors

Dhanush is optimistic of 'Yaradi Nee Mohini's' success at the box office.

The movie, a remake of Telugu hit 'Adavari Mataluku Ardhale Verulae', directed by Jawahar, features Nayantara opposite Dhanush. It is a jovial and entertaining film and I am sure that it would rock, he says.

Meanwhile, the shooting for his next 'Padikathavan', directed by Suraj, kicked off on Saturday. Featuring Tamanna opposite him, the movie is produced by Vijaya Vauhini Productions.

On the tough competition to excel in the industry, he says, “Becoming an actor is easy, but sustaining in the field isn't. You must constantly hone your acting, fighting and dancing skills. Heroes are killing themselves to give that one hit. Never before in the history of Tamil cinema have we seen such a burgeoning band of heroes. To survive the race, one must be multi-talented”.
