Padesave, directed by Chunia, is slated to be released on Feb 26. The film's censor was done today and it got a clean U. Produced on Ayaan Creations, it is advertised as an Akkineni Nagarjuna encouragement. Starring Karthik Raju and Nithya Shetty in lead roles, the film is a triangular love story, also starring a Kashmir-based newcomer. Nithya Shetty, a Telugu girl, is debuting as a female lead. She has acted in about 20 films as a child artist, winning 2 Nandis and a prestigious international award.

At a time when Nandini Reddy, B Jaya, and Sasi Kiran Narayana (the director of Saheba Subramanyam fame) are making films, Chuniya, too, is making one. Anup Rubens is the music director.

The subject that is dealt with pertains to today's youngsters and their confusions. Nagarjuna has described the film as a sensible entertainer which every male should watch.
