Shocking! Pakistan bans Pad Man

'Pad Man' directed by Balki which stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte might have won the hearts of the Indian mass, but the film has been unfortunately banned at Pakistan. The Federal Censor Board (FCB) has decided to not give the nod to 'Pad Man' deals with menstrual hygiene.

A member of the FCB has stated the board cannot allow film distributors to import films which are against their tradition and culture. Even the Punjab Film Censor Board has even refused to watch the film denying a clearance. In addition to this well known director Syed Noor has opined that even 'Padmaavat' should not have been release as it portrays Muslims in a bad light.

However, 'Pad Man' has received an enormously good reception in India with its first day earnings crossing 10 crores. The film is based in Muruganantham who invents an efficient way to manufacture low cost sanitary napkins for women.
