A day long shooting of Paapu` Kannada film was stalled by Ooty Police for no fault of Kannada film team headed by S Mahender.

On Wednesday morning the shooting with helicam` was objected by Ooty Police and detained the 40 plus team. The police consulted the DC on this issue with no knowledge of why the shooting is done with helicam to capture aerial shots.

The police later ascertained the details through Google search on helicam. It was too late in the evening. The team was set free. As a result one day shooting was held up for Kannada film Paapu`.

Paapu` director Mahender has chosen Srinagara Kitty and Kruthi Karabanda to play lead roles. It is UTC Entertainment Gami Bandihalli production. Papu` has a caption My Heartbeats Your Name`. Jagadish Wali is cameraman and Arjun Janya scores music for Paapu`. Suhasini, Sharat Babu, Rangayana Raghu, Tabala Naani and others are in the cast. There will be six songs.
