Pa Ranjith’s strong tweet against NEET!

In a shocking incident, after the declaration of NEET exam results, a student named Rithushree from Tirupur had committed suicide as she had secured less marks, and due to the frustration that she cannot secure an MBBS seat. Following this, there is outrage among TN public against NEET exams. 

Director Pa Ranjith who voices out against suppression, has tweeted against NEET. He had tweeted that the deaths due to NEET are increasing and the latest is Rithushree. Along with the central government which made a law on NEET which denies education to the poor and economically weaker sections of the society, the state government which cannot oppose it and we who are silently seeing all this are responsible for the death.

Following Pa Ranjith’s tweet, there were mixed reactions from netizens with some of them supporting his view and raising voice against NEET,  while many had quoted that many die due to failure in plus two exams as well, which cannot demand banning the exam. Actress Gayatri Raghuram had responded to his tweet that instead of taking their lives they can give another try at the exams.
