Pa Ranjith opens up about Chiyaan Vikram’s unwavering dedication at the ‘Thangalaan’ audio launch!

Director Pa Ranjith’s collaboration with Chiyaan Vikram for the first time has resulted in the highly anticipated magnum opus, “Thangalaan,” set to hit theatres on August 15th. The grand audio launch event for the film took place in Chennai last night and is drawing significant attention.

During the event, Pa Ranjith showered praise on Chiyaan Vikram for his unwavering dedication to his craft. He revealed, “During the shoot of Thangalaan, Chiyaan Vikram sir broke his rib. Despite being in immense pain, he continued shooting. I don’t know how he managed it, but he did. He has so much trust in me. I want this film to succeed, especially for him.”

Ranjith commended Vikram’s love for the art, noting, “Vikram sir’s transformations for his roles are difficult and truly inspiring. Thangalaan has a touch of fantasy; we’ve explored magical realism, taking the film into a new genre.
