Director Pa. Ranjith after the crictical and commercial success of 'Kaala' starring Superstar Rajinikanth and Nana Patekar signed on to helm a high budget Hindi flick based on the life of Birsa Munda the most famous tribal freedom fighter of India. The scripting and pre-production is going on and the project will go on floors in 2020.

Meanwhile Ranjith has decided to make a multistarrer in Tamil and has already signed Arya and Sathyaraj and is in talks with Rana Daggubatti for another pivotal role. It may be recalled that Arya and Sathyaraj have already costarred in 'Raja Rani' and Rana Daggubatti and Saythyaraj have featured together in the global blockbuster hits 'Baahubali' and 'Baahubali 2'. Rana and Arya have shared screenspace in 'Bangalore Natkal' the Tamil remake of the Malayalam super hit 'Bangalore Days'.
