Pa. Ranjith who has completed his 10th year in Tamil cinema is gearing up for the release of his next movie 'Natchathiram Nagargirathu' on August 26th this year. The film has Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Kalaiarasan, Dancing Rose Shabheer, Harikrishnan and others. The maverick filmmaker will begin shooting for 'Chiyaan 61' starring Vikram and Rashmika Mandanna produced by Studio Green with GVP scoring the music.

Meanwhile Ranjith also producing interesting films under his banner Neelam Productions an today an untitled multistarrer went on floors. The film has Ashok Selvan and Keerthy Pandian in the lead roles with Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Prithviraj Pandiarajan, Divya Duraiswamy and others sharing screenspace.

The as yet untitled film which Ranjith kickstarted today is directed by debutante Jai, written by Tamil Prabha, with Thamizh A Azhagan serving as DOP and Govind Vasantha scoring the music.
