RK, the industrialist turned actor, has made a prize catch this time. After marking his presence felt with films like ‘Ellam Avan Seyal’ and ‘Azhagarmalai’, he would act in a film to be directed by P Vasu.

If sources are to be believed, Vasu, who at first had some reservations to direct RK, accepted to don the mantle impressed by the dedication and commitment shown by the actor.

“RK was a huge fan of Vasu. It was his wish to act in a film directed by the filmmaker. It is coming true now. The script is getting its final touches. A search is on for heroine,” sources in the know added.

The film, which is expected to go on floors soon, would be an out and out commercial venture targeted at all sections of the audience. Meanwhile, RK has got another movie too in the pipeline. To be directed by Shaji Kailash, who made ‘Ellam Avan Seyal”, the film is a thriller, it is said.
