Veteran director P Vasu, who rendered the hit of the decade in Kannada filmdom with 'Apthamithra' starring Vishnuvardhan and also its Tamil remake 'Chandramukhi' starring Rajinikanth, is ready for his next.

Sources close to the director say, the ace director is now planning a sequel to his 'Apthamithra' in Kannada. Vishnuvardhan would be playing the hero again. Soundarya had played the heroine in the first part. Vasu reportedly is searching for a new actress now.

'Apthamithra' went on to become a huge hit in Karnataka and the movie collected huge revenues besides completing a silver jubilee run. Vasu is keen to repeat the magic with Vishnuvardhan once again.
