P Susheela refutes rumours

It has been recklessly rumoured about legendary singer P Susheela in sections of web media. The news had been that she breathed her last on Thursday night.

The fact is that Susheelamma is currently in the US. She has shot for a video clip from there, assuring her fans that she is doing fine. The 81-year-old vocalist had started her singing career way back in 1950. The recipient of countless number of awards has a large number of fans across India.

In recent months, the likes of S Janaki too have been killed by rumour-mongers, prompting worried social media users to post RIP messages by dime a dozen.
