Asaduddin Owaisi, the AIMIM leader, today said at a public rally in Hyderabad that Pakistan should deal with terrorist organizations such as LeT and JeM with an iron fist.
"The Pakistan PM recently talked of Tipu Sultan and Bahadur Shah Zafar in his Parliament. Tipu Sultan wasn't an enemy of Hindus but an adversary of the enemies of his sultanate. Imran Khan talks of the atom bomb. It's weird. We (India) have it too. Handle your Lashkar-e-Shaitaan (Owaisi's way of referring to LeT) and Jaish-e-Shaitaan (read Jaish-e-Mohammad)," Owaisi said.
On Friday, speaking at the conclave of a media organization, Owaisi opined that India is not a Hindu Rashtra and that it can’t be treated as the motherland of all Hindus. "India’s consistent policy has been to repatriate refugees once the situation in their home country normalizes," he said, referring to the new policy of the Centre to give citizenship to non-Muslim refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
