During an anti-CAA rally in Bengaluru, on Thursday, a young girl named Amulya created a controversy by unexpectedly raising 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogan during her address to the gathering. AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi, who was very much on the same dais, was taken aback by her slogan. He rushed toward her and snatched away the mike from her.
Cases have been slapped against Amulya by the Bengaluru police under Section 124A (anti-sedition) and Sections 153A and 153B of the Indian Penal Code.
The girl's father has disowned his daughter's objectionable slogan.
Meanwhile, the BJP has alleged that Amulya was tutored to raise the slogan. Amit Malviya, the BJP national spokesperson, said, "In this dated video, the girl who raised ‘Pakistan zindabad’ slogans at Asaduddin Owaisi’s ‘anti-CAA’ rally, explains that she may be the face but there is a big ‘lobby’ of senior activists and advisors, who advise her on what to speak. The rot is deeper than what is visible!"
