Actress Oviya had gained immense popularity post her TV Stint with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan hosted reality game show Bigg Boss, following which there were even fan armies for the actress and her craze grew bigger than expected.

Following that, she had recently made her first onscreen appearance in a lead role in the youthful entertainer 90 ML directed by Anita Udeep and irrespective of the reviews, the movie has been performing as expected, as per trade reports.

Her next release Raghava Lawrence directed Kanchana 3 was wrapped recently and is releasing in April, and yesterday, her next movie Raja Bheema was wrapped. Raja Bheema has Oviya in a special appearance, and stars Arav and Ashima Narwal in lead roles, and is directed by debutant Naresh Sampath. Oviya has also performed a dance number in this movie that focuses on bonding between a man and an elephant.
