Overcrowded Hyderabad Metro to have a solution soon

The Hyderabad Metro has become increasingly overcrowded. There is a demand from commuters that additional coaches must be added in order to deal with peak hour rush.
Urban Eye, a Hyderabadi Twitter handle, highlighted the issue in a recent post. "I had a personal harrowing experience the other day at around 6:40 PM. It's extremely difficult to get on a train outside a terminal station like Raidurg during peak hours. People were unable to get on the train at Peddamma Gudi Station. It took 5-6 trains to dissipate the growing crowd slowly," the user wrote.
Another Netizen named Sai Koushik, too, highlighted the issue. "Travel in the metro as a common man during peak time to understand how much it is crowded and the importance of increasing the number of coaches. We are requesting many times but there is no movement on this," he wrote.
The good news is that there are attempts to raise funds for the purpose of adding additional coaches. "I have asked the Concessionaire L&TMRHL management to raise funds and procure additional coaches to cater to the increasing number of Metro commuters," an official said.
