How many times have we gone out for a movie and ended up paying more for the food there? Like, everytime. Right? The cost of beverages and snacks sometimes are triple the rate of what we get as MRP outside.

Adding to that, the theatres also don’t allow customers to bring food from outside. And even most of the food sold anyways at the counter are junk and soda/processed juices. Healthy food has become a luxury. But the Maharashtra government made a phenomenal announcement that from August 1st , movie goers can bring in their own food from outside.

This announcement has many advantages, one theatres may bring down the costs of their food down. Next, the quality of the inside food may be increased. And lastly, we may not burn a hole in our pockets. Don’t we really wish such a change is made in our state as well?
