OTT release date of 'Narappa' announced

'Narappa', starring Venkatesh in a well-rounded role, is a remake of Dhanush's 'Asuran' (Tamil). Directed by Srikanth Addala, the film's OTT release date is out.
Amazon Prime on Monday announced that the drama will be streaming on its platform from July 20. "Narappa is equal to entry like a king, fight like a warrior, win like a champion and, leave like a legend (sic)," the platform said.
Sharing the news, Venkatesh said that all his well-wishers and fans have been eagerly waiting to watch the film. "Your love towards this film has been overwhelming for me and the team, who always ensured to go an extra mile just like Narappa," the 'Drushyam 2' actor added. "We believe that this love will keep growing until the film will be all yours...Watch it with your near and dear ones at the comfort and safety of your home," he added.
Suresh Productions' D Suresh Babu and producer Kalaipuli S Thanu sold the movie to Prime recently amid the pandemic. Outlining the synopsis of the movie, the makers wrote, "Humble farmer. Loving father. Devoted husband. How far will he go to protect his family?"
On Sunday, a song from the movie was unveiled.
Starring Priyamani as Sundaramma, Venky's wife, the film has Karthik Ratnam, Rajeev Kanakala and Rao Ramesh in other pivotal roles. Mani Sharma and Shyam K Naidu are its music composer and cinematographer, respectively. Gandhi Nadikudikar is its art director.
