As the week nears its end, OTT platforms have started witnessing some exciting new releases including movies and series starting today, and these shows and movies in various genres and various OTT platforms like Amazon prime video, Netflix etc are sure to entertain you.
Here's a list of the latest arrivals on OTT platforms, the subject they deal with, and the cast and crew details to let you choose your timepass for the day.
Krishna and his Leela (Netflix):
Directed by Ravikanth Perepu of Kshanam fame this Tollywood flick starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Shraddha Srinath, Shalini Vaddinikatii, Seerat Kapoor and Samyuktha Hornad revolves around an immature guy Krishna, who struggles to maintain relationships and gets into trouble thanks to his oscillating mind and his confusion in choosing between his first love Satya who reenters his life and his current love Radha. The movie had its direct OTT release today on Netflix.
Rasbhari (Amazon prime video):
Starring Swara Baskar, Rasbhari had become sensational since the release of its promos featuring the actress in a glamorous avatar as a hot teacher. Written by Shantanu Shrivastava and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt, Rasbhari is set in the small town of Meerut and revolves around a young boy Nand (Ayushmaan Saxena) who falls in love with his English teacher, a role played by Swara Bhasker. However to his shock, the young guy finds that his teacher has a sexy alter-ego named Rasbhari. Rasbhari co-stars Rashmi Agdekar, Pradyuman Singh, Neelu Kohli and Chitranjan Tripathi.
Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac (Netflix):
This 2010 teen drama film directed by Hans Canosa is based on the 2007 adult novel of the same name penned by Gabrielle Zevin and stars Japanese actress Maki Horikita, Japanese actors Kenichi Matsuyama and Yuya Tegoshi, and American actor Anton Yelchin. Diving to save a camera from a fall down the stairs, high school student Naomi Sukuse recovers from the fall only to realise that she has no memory of the last four years. Now Naomi has to remember who she was and rediscover things that happened in the past.
Fathers (Netflix):
This 2016 acclaimed Thailand movie directed by Palatpol Mingpornpichit deals with issues such as same sex relationship and parenthood and has released today on Netflix. The film revolves around Phoon, a finance and investment manager, and Yuke, a graphic illustrator in a relationship and have adopted an abandoned child named Butr. However the child is made fun of not having a mother in his school. Now the couple have to look out for their son's real mother.
