"Kanguva," released in theaters on November 14, is a period drama connecting two timelines. Directed by Siva, the movie stars Suriya alongside Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, Natti, Karunas, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Bose Venkat, and more. The film's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, and it is produced under Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green banner. Despite its grand Rs. 300 crore budget, the film underperformed due to negative reviews, earning only Rs. 100 crore.
Following its OTT release, "Kanguva" received mixed responses. However, its inclusion in the Oscars shortlist has sparked renewed interest among fans and the film industry.
