It is a well-known fact that SS Rajamouli's magnum opus 'RRR' became a global hit transcending borders and languages. Ram Charan and Jr NTR earned high critical acclaim, awards and honours for their acting as the freedom fighters - Alluri Sita Ramaraju and Komaram Bheem.

The two actors captivated the audience not only with their performances but also with their dance moves in the chartbuster 'Naatu Naatu' song. It has already won the prestigious Golden Globe and Critics Choice Awards. Naatu Naatu scripted history by bagging an Oscar 2023 nomination in the Best Original Song category and made the nation proud.

Earlier, director SS Rajamouli told the media that he will attempt to get the viral song performed live on the Oscars stage. Now, the Academy took to social media to officially announce that the singers Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj will perform the number with an orchestra. Composer MM Keeravani revealed in an interview that the rehearsals for the live rendition are currently underway.

On February 28, The Academy took to Twitter to announce that Naatu Naatu will be performed live at the ceremony. Their post read, "Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava. Naatu Naatu. LIVE at the 95th Oscars." Meanwhile, the fans want Ram Charan and Jr NTR to dance to the Naatu Naatu song at the Oscars. Ram Charan said in an earlier interview that they would love to perform the number if there's a chance.
