Proud moment for Suriya's Soorarai Pottru at the Oscars!

It was announced last month that Soorarai Pottru, starring Suriya and directed by Sudha Kongara, has joined the Oscar race this year in the Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director and several other categories.
Rajsekar Pandian of 2D Entertainment had tweeted that the movie was made available in the Academy Screening Room. Now it has been revealed that Soorarai Pottru is one of the 366 films eligible for a Best Picture nomination at this year's Oscars.
The Oscars Academy released the final eligible list of 366 films for this year in which Soorarai Pottru is the only south Indian film and the voting for nominations is set to begin on March 5. Besides, Suriya and Aparna Balamurli are Also Eligible For Best Actor and Best Actress Categories of Oscar. This exciting news has made fans of Suriya happy.
