Oscar award winner for Robo 2.0

Oscar winning sound designer Resul Pookutty has been roped in as one of the core technicians for Superstar Rajinikanth's new movie Robo 2.0. The Shankar directorial is a sequel to 2010 blockbuster hit Robo. "In Chennai, one of my favourite cities. After the floods everything looks calm, initial meeting with @shankarshanmugh for #endhiran2," tweets Resul.
This is for the third time that Resul has joined forces with Rajini after Robo and Kochadaiyaan. The film also featuring Amy Jackson and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in crucial roles is being made on a staggering budget of Rs 350 cr. The first schedule of the film is already completed and Akshay, who plays the baddie in the film, is likely to join the sets from the second schedule.
