Oru Nunakkadha
Recently quite a number of Tamil actors have made a try in Mollywood, with a few like Sharathkumar, Parthipan and Unni Govind creating some wonderful characters that will remain in the memory of avid filmviewers for long. Adding to the list is the most busy comedy actor of Tamil, Padma Shri Award winner Vivek who will debut into Malayalam playing the lead role in the new movie titled as 'Oru Nunakkatha'
Vivek plays the role pf a Sub Inspector Singham in the film, whose long cherished dream is to act in a movie. Amidst his regular duties, he is trying ways to somehow become the part of a movie. Debutant actors Piyush, Aneesh menon and Ashraf plays Aravind, Tony and Sooraj, who are frantic cinephiles. Though they are still in college, the movies has influenced them in such a manner that they somehow wants to create one Malayalam movie. And for that they had been churning in stories in a daily basis, much of which appears to be illogical even to them. Finally they zeroes in on a thread and moves on with their plans of movie making, when they bumps into the sub inspector.
Ashwathy, who became popular with the television serial Alphonsamma is the heroine of the movie. Among the three, Aravind had a crush on Aswathy but the three some falls into trouble as Aswathy is found absconding from the college. S I Singam(Padmasree Vivek) from Tamil Nadu discovers Aswathy in a trap of good hearted Tamil cinema director(Raveendran) in his film location. After being in every type of roles on screen, Veteran actor Jagathy is donning the role of a production boy in the new movie 'Oru Nunakkadha'. In fact, the character of Jagathy is an SI named Thampi in the movie, who masquerades as a production boy of the film to find out some secrets about the lead actors. ''Production boys are the group who work day and night for the success of every movie. I am very happy to represent them in a movie, says Jagathy.
Also in the cast are Suraj Venjaaramoodu and Riaz Khan. Scripted by Abhilash Ramachandran and Abraham V baby, 'Oru Nunakkatha' is directed by Johnson Thankachan. Midhun Easwar is the music director, who sets the music to lyrics by Roy Puramadam.Suraj D kolery is the cinematographer of the movie which is being produced by Mathew Abraham under the banner of Ben Arts. 'Oru Nunakkatha will grace the theatres in a couple of weeks.
