Then after discussing with writer Jeyamohan, I again pitched a new story to the producer, music director, and actor. The producer asked me to pick the movie I wanted to direct and Simbu was all in and said that he will change his appearance accordingly," he said.
"AR Rahman sir had already composed three songs and when I told him that the script and story are changed, he immediately told me that he will give me new tunes and sings and can use the ones that are already made for my other movies," director Gautham Menon added.
He also revealed that in the first draft given by Jeyamohan sir, there was no scope for a love or romance story. He stated that, "Jeyamohan's sir wife asked him how a renowned love and romance film director take a film without any essence of love. Then, Jeyamohan sir called and said that I can include that part myself. I again discussed with him and told him that there is a space to include love story and then we made the script accordingly." The film's music is done by AR Rahman and Radhika Sarathkumar is playing a prominent role.
