Students cheat Apple huge money using fake IPhones

Apple may be one of the world's largest technological giants but a couple of students have cheated them to the tune of USD 90000. Quan Jiang and Yangyangg Zhou were staying in the US with a student visa in Oregon. The duo hatched upon an ingenious scheme by which they first shipped in about 2000 fake IPhones from China.

Quan Jiang and Yangyangg Zhou then approached Apple stating that they have received defective phones and got them replaced with original devices. To put it simply they gave Apple phones worth about 30 dollars and got back ones worth more than ten to fifteen times its worth. The company woke up to the fact a little late but then got in touch with the authorities who raided the student's room and found around 300 fake handsets. They are now facing charges including trafficking knockoff goods, fraudulent customs declarations, and wire fraud.
