The story of `Orange Mittai ` revolves around a fifty five year old man played by Vijay Sethupathi who is taken ill and travels by an ambulance, which has Ramesh Thilak as a paramedic and Arumugam Bala as the driver.  The entire story is set in the ambulance and the interaction between the three characters form the screenplay.  Justin Prabhakar scores the music while Biju Viswanath takes care of camera and editing as well.

According to Vijay Sethupathi `Orange Mittai' will remind every son of his father and every father of his son.  The film is slated to release on the 31st of July.
