With Blaaze around, even a kid can say it would be a rap song. Na Muthukumar has dealt in detail about the autorickshaw drivers and their lifestyle in Chennai in the song. Sure to attract the front-benchers, the song has pep and pace to make it big. A perfect start to the album by the young music-composer.
Idhu Enna Nyayam (Shankar Mahadevan, Alka Yagnik)
It is a catchy romantic duet set in western. The energetic Shankar Mahadevan and the mesmerizing voice of Alka Yagnik combine to sooth the hearts of the listeners. The instrumentation by Prakash is attractive. The song flows smoothly in our ears. Reminds one of Rahman in his early days.
Kozhi Kalu (Kailash Kher, Jassie Gift)
Prakash has tried to fuse the East and the West. A mix of gana and hip-hop, the song has good rhythm. Peppy beats and soft percussion add sheen to the song. Reminds one of Pettai Rap set to tunes by Rehman in Kadhalan.
Yaar Iravinai (George Peters, Sunitha Sarathy)
It's drummer Sivamani all the way. He hogs all limelight, giving peppy beats and a lift to the song. Sunitha dominates with her lively rendition, while George Peters gives adequate support.
Jigu Jickan (Manicka Vinayagam)
A rural street folk, laced with western instrumentation. The catchy interludes on guitar deserve mention. The open-throated Manicka Vinayakam is impressive.

Re-creating the magic of Yammadi Athadi (Vallavan) is Vijaya T Rajendhar.
A perfect racy number targeting the front-benchers, the song dwells about college life. It is a mixture of Kuthu song and gana. The song has changing rhythms and instrumentation with nadhaswaram is dominating.
