You must have heard of the adage “Speed thrills, but kills.” You could have spotted this statement in advertisements across the city. Speed indeed thrills people and gives vehicle riders a high when they cross conventionally accepted speed limits.

Auto racers, especially, are people who are thrilled to bits by speed. This is one reason why they are not married to the idea of marriage. They know only too well that it takes a lot to get committed and that it is a difficult proposition if they do so, as they are into a risky business.

The director duo Pushkar and Gayatri met many of these racers and race mechanics and spent approximately about six months on the research in order to get the script right and taut.
